We are always excited to work with enthusiastic students and researchers interested in advancing the state of the art in lidar technology and exploring new frontiers in middle atmosphere physics. We can support graduate students in electrical/computer engineering, space physics, and Earth systems science. Students in our group are based in the Geophysical Institute, which is the premier research center for Arctic geophysical science.
We also are always interested in working with undergraduate students attending any of the University of Alaska institutions. Undergraduates in our lab work on a variety of projects and have opportunities to participate in field work and present their research at conferences.
